Unfortunately the goblins were not the only group with a mage. And now with a large cloud of fog, and ash covered flesh and armor, attempting a ranged strike on these Goblins would be impossible. Due to the inaccuracyof mortars against small groups or individual targets, zero losses were taken. The shaman sent with them began chanting, conjuring up a large cloud of fog to fill the area as the Goblins scattered out, coated themselves in ash amidst the fog, and hunkered down.

As the mortars distant booms echoed through the wasteland, the small raider squad was alerted of the danger.
